God created us for community-so prayer is essential to life. Flood community is meant to foster life. Support our community by submitting your prayers. PRAY AT FLOOD Prayer can happen anytime, anyplace, by anyone. During gatherings at Kearny High, you may visit prayer stations in the foyer where you can pray, write prayer requests and take communion each Sunday. Because of Jesus Christ, we now have direct access to God through His Spirit! Our prayer sanctuary is designed to remind us of the importance of prayer-communicating with God. So often we think of God speaking to us as thunder or some other fantastic event. And yet, the beauty lies in God's grace. He usually chooses to communicate to us in a still, small voice.
